Eleanor Duffield

Eleanor Duffield is an attorney whose practice focuses on tax, private wealth, estate planning, and business matters. She earned her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law and her LL.M. in Taxation from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, with focus on corporate taxation, gift and estate taxation, partnership taxation, executive compensation, international taxation, estate planning, advanced partnership taxation, advanced international tax transactions, and tax modeling.  Prior to law school, Eleanor excelled in her studies at the University of Arkansas’s J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in African American Studies.

Eleanor brings a practical and analytical perspective to her work, informed by experience in business operations, real estate and leasing matters, probate research, and policy analysis. She has extensive experience working with contracts and assisting with operational problem-solving in working with her family’s construction business.  She also has experience with estate planning and probate matters, bringing an empathetic approach to each client’s plan, informed by her tax practice and family office experience.

During law school, Eleanor served in leadership roles with the Student Bar Association and Honor Council and was Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Student Bar Association Newsletter University of Arkansas School of Law. She is active in community service and mentorship, including through the Arkansas Law Business Pro Bono Seminar, Fayetteville K-Life Ministries, and the Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Pantry.
