Michael McGill comes to Smith Hurst after having practiced in a highly respected Little Rock, Arkansas commercial finance and business transaction firm.  Michael focuses his practice in planning estates and businesses and working with charitable organizations. Michael is a graduate of New York University, having obtained an LL.M. in Taxation.  Michael is a cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Law where he was also a Note and Comment Editor for the Arkansas Law Review.

Prior to his legal studies, Michael attended the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and minor in Finance.

Michael remains actively involved with the Walton College of Business through his service on the Young Alumni Advisory Board and is a member of the American Bar Association and Arkansas Bar Association.
